Grand Hyatt is a luxury hotel in Western Berlin, in excellent location on Potzdamer Platz. Hotel isn’t new but has been meticulously renovated and rooms boast modern interiors and all comforts a luxury traveller would expect – automated black out blinds, heated floors, coffee machines. The hotel is owned by Mercedes Benz, so two of the signature suites are Maybach Suite and Daimler Suite. Some of the hotel rooms look out onto the neighbourhood, some into internal courtyard. Rooms are fairly compact but functional.

Breakfast is excellent and features a lot of hot dishes (eggs, sausages, bacon), as well as a great selection of continental treats. Bar is a happening place with a well heeled crowd. Tiziano, Italian restaurant, is open for lunch and dinner and is always busy.

Grand Hyatt gets a lot of business travellers, so it offers a quiet Club Lounge that serves breakfast and evening drinks and canapés to guests staying at the Club Level.

Hyatt has a gorgeous little spa and a well equipped gym. Indoor swimming pool is a treat – a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing or working.
