Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa is admittedly quite secluded, standing alone in the silent desert. It offers guests tranquillity in a unique location.

With five restaurants and bars, swimming pools, stables and camel riding, it’s likely time will fly past here. While you are here, make time for the resort’s desert explorations – take a jeep, horse, or camel out onto the dunes, or watch the scheduled falconry shows.

Bab Al Shams rooms and suites are designed in a distinctly Arabic style. They are a little dark, and very cozy, warm, with accents of colour achieved by clever decorations like Arabic throws, rugs and glass lanterns and wall murals. The rooms feature heavy traditional fabrics, artefacts, beautiful solid wood furniture like treasure chests and four poster beds carved out of wood.
