We have been searching for the best luxurious hotels in Sydney and the Sheraton On The Park is the next on our list to experience.

We booked a suite in The Sheraton for Friday night and had advised our arrival time to the hotel representative.

When we arrived at the lobby one of the lovely staff members was waiting for us downstairs in the lobby. I was greeted by name and escorted straight to the Ambassador Suite. This special treatment from the beginning certainly made us feel welcome and special from the minute we arrived.

About the Ambassador Suite

The suite is stunning! We have finally found luxury in Sydney! This gorgeous suite had recently undergone a completely renovation and it is absolutely perfect for any Lux Traveller. It is spacious, very modern yet cozy, plush and luxurious.

It consists of a beautiful spacious living room with a five-seater lounge, a day bed with the best views in town, a study area, a dining room for six people, a black marble kitchenette with a full fridge (which is perfect for longer stays), a spacious bedroom with another day bed, a bathroom for two and a separate guest powder room. There was also ample separate space for storage and luggage.

The suite is 160 square metres, which is definitely enough room for a family of four or a larger family if you book the two-bedroom option.

We had three kids with us and all of them had comfortable beds to sleep in without having to bring in roll-aways which can ruin the sense of luxury in a gorgeous suite.

Special features of the suite – Throughout the suite were very tasteful and elegant furnishings and features.  The Louis Vuitton inspired wallpaper in the bedroom made my LV case feel like it belonged. The black marble kitchenette was functional, sexy and perfect for parties and longer stays. The suite also offer some of the best views in town from one the terrace which wraps around the  length of the entire suite ensuring every room enjoys the spectacular views of the city, Hyde Park and Sydney Harbour glimpses.

I can’t think of a better place to sit on a warm morning with a newspaper and a coffee  (a Nespresso machine is provided in the suite for your convenience).

The Sheraton Executive Club is a very pleasant venue for a quiet breakfast or a pre-dinner drink. It is not too busy and the breakfast selection,  though not the best in the world, is more than sufficient. The views are great and the service is excellent. The staff know all the regular guests by name which always helps to make one feel special and welcome.

The indoor pool is a big bonus in the middle of the city and a great treat if you travelling with kids! The temperature is a little chilly for the adults but children never  seem to worry about it. The pool is on level 22 with a glass ceiling and also enjoys great views.

All in all  we had a fantastic stay in one of the most beautiful suites in Sydney. If you are a Lux Traveller and nothing but the best will do book this suite to enjoy the romance, elegance and luxury that Sydney has to offer.
