This incredible resort is one of my favourites in the world – it has impeccable service, luxurious and spacious rooms & suites, world class dining and incredible facilities.
Location
Four Seasons is located on Jumeirah Beach, in a little world of its own, completely secluded from the public. The territory is a peaceful, green sanctuary, an oasis amongst a busy city, that boasts perfectly manicured gardens, palm trees, fountains and pathways that lead to the beach. Most of the rooms have balconies and look towards the sea; it’s not uncommon here to be woken up by the birds singing, rather than by traffic or construction like in many other hotels in Dubai.
Accommodation
Four Seasons is famous for the size of their rooms, starting from 70 sq m. Entry level rooms look over the city, I wouldn’t recommend those, as for a little higher price you’ll have a room overlooking the Arabian Gulf.
I had a pleasure to stay in both Premier Sea-view room and Jumeirah Seaview one-bedroom suite. Rooms are perfect for a romantic stay with a seating area both in the room and on the balcony and beautiful spacious marble bathrooms for two. I love Four Seasons beds with their crispy linens and exquisite mattresses. Good night sleep is always guaranteed here.
One-bedroom Suites with sun lounges on the balcony are perfect for sun tanning in private and their generous size of over 130 sq meters makes them perfect for families. The sofa in the living room folds out to a comfy double bed.
Dining
Four Seasons Jumeirah Beach has its own restaurant village, home to some of the most well known restaurants in the world. You might’ve heard of Nammos (famous beach club from Mykonos, a place to see and be seen with live entertainment and DJ that turns glamorous restaurant into a night club), Scalini (yummiest modern Italian), Nuzr-et, steak restaurant run by Turkish celebrity chef, Mimi Kukushi – Japanese with a twist, making a reputation in Dubai for weekend brunches, just to mention a few. If you are staying in the Four Seasons for a couple of weeks I promise you won’t be bored of the food – the best chefs in the world will make sure of that. Most of these venues are not hotel owned, but it doesn’t make a difference to the hotel experience.
Inside the hotel guests could enjoy Suq, all day buffet restaurant, in my opinion the best breakfast buffet in Dubai. The hotel goes as far as to spoil you with caviar with blini and sour cream as one of the delectable treats.
On the rooftop with 360-degree view of Dubai you’d find Mercury Lounge, serving creative cocktails and yummy Mediterranean bites. It has lounge music, dressy atmosphere – perfect for a date night.
Beachside restaurant Sea Fu is also one of my favourites serving a mix of Japanese and Mediterranean cuisine and also offering superb brunches on the weekend. In a garden setting you’ll find Folia with plant based cuisine.
Facilities
Four Seasons Jumerah Beach has two large resort pools – one for families and another for adults only; couples would never be overrun by kids. The territory is very spacious for a reasonably small hotel, so it never feels busy with plenty of space for everyone.
The beach is clean, has a cute floating island in the sea for those seeking extra privacy. Like everywhere in Dubai there is a bit of construction in the vicinity and the beach isn’t open to the ocean, but unfortunately it is the case with most hotels in Dubai now.
Fitness centre is very spacious with great Technogym equipment, perfect for a full body workout.
The Pearl Spa
The spa deserves a special mention – it is a true sanctuary of relaxation with indoor swimming pool and a collection of unique treatments featuring local oils and techniques.
For facials choose from high performance Dr Burgener products from Switzerland or all natural Sodashi from Australia. My favourite is Bilogique Recherche offering anti-pigmentation, oxygen, detox facials or electrostimulation for tailor-made results.
The Lux Traveller Loves
We adore this hotel, it’s one of the best in the world without a doubt. Exquisite service, beautifully decorated, spacious rooms and suites, best restaurants in Dubai, meticulously manicured gardens make this hotel an exceptional hotel for your next Dubai stay.
Splitting Hairs
There isn’t a single thing I’d change about the hotel. Only feedback, don’t book a city view room as it completely changes the feel of the holiday.
All In All
Superb luxury hotel – a must visit for all luxury travellers to Dubai.
