Wolgan Valley is about 2.5 hours away from Sydney and is located in a valley encompassed with rugged canyon walls. Uniformed security guards will meet you at the gates where you park your car and are then transferred to the Resort.

Reception staff greet guests by name and after a quick but informative tour of the property you’ll be escorted to your suite. All suites are freestanding and private. For ultimate privacy ask for a suite at the end of the row – that way no one will be able to look into your private pool. Yes – every suite comes with a private pool, which can be indoor, or open to the elements – depending on the season.

The suites are stunning – impeccably designed and fitted out with nothing but the best. They are warm and inviting with earthy tones, a two-sided push button fireplace and an impossibly comfortable four poster bed. They also have a separate dressing room, a magnificent bathroom with dual vanities and a veranda for watching the sunset. There is a Nespresso machine and a good selection of designer teas. Minibar items are included in your room rate – except for imported alcoholic beverages.

Once you arrive at the resort there is really nothing else to spend. All your gourmet meals and nature activities are included in the rate. Breakfast is gourmet country style  and dinner is a sophisticated elegant affair. Degustation menu is designed from local and seasonal produce and is distinctly modern Australian. There is a variety of nature-based activities available at the resort including a guided wilderness safari, horse riding through beautiful bush land or bike rides (every suite has its own bikes).
