Fit To Promise

I had a pleasure to spend a few outstanding days in the most exquisite Presidential Suite in Sydney this month – Two Bedroom Presidential Suite in Four Seasons Sydney.

Location

Four Seasons stands apart from other brands through its exceptional service, ‘can do’ attitude, attentive staff, and in-house fine dining. Every Four Seasons guest is warmly greeted on arrival and welcomed to the hotel.

The location of the Four Seasons Sydney is 10 out of 10 – on the edge of Sydney Harbour in Circular Quay and in front of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge. The tower is built in a way to maximize views from every room. So no matter whether you stay in a room or a suite you’ll be able to enjoy Sydney’s most spectacular landmarks from your windows.

Arrival

As we pulled up to the Four Seasons driveway, we were greeted by the General Manager, Bahram Sepahi, a legend in the Four Seasons world with more than 25 years experience with the brand. His warm welcome made my day.

The check-in is done promptly in the room (Four Seasons team is very responsible with the COVID management and take every guests’ temperature at check in, offers masks and sanitizer kits for every guest and every room goes through thorough cleaning and sanitizing prior to check in). After the formalities were completed we went to explore the room.

Lots of treats awaited us in the suite – beautiful personalized hand-made chocolate arrangements for the kids and champagne, flowers and cheese platter for the adults. Very thoughtful and beautiful, very Four Seasons. Even the flowers happened to be my favourite – pink roses.

Two Bedroom Presidential Suite

From the moment I walked in, the Suite took my breath away. Located on the private top floor of the Four Seasons tower in Sydney’s Circular Quay, it boasts spectacular views of Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House from every floor-to-ceiling window.  The décor feels more like a luxury home, than a hotel. Beautiful designer furnishings, soft carpet, plush sofas, fresh flowers in every room, four poster bed in the master bedroom, bathroom bigger than an average studio apartment – all speaks of the ultimate luxury. No expense was spared when this suite was designed.

Palatial master bedroom features a sexy four poster bed and stunning bathroom with a huge round bathtub by the window, designed for romance. All you need is rose petals, champagne and voilá – the most pretty bath in Sydney in ready for romance.

I would recommend this suite for a honeymoon or a romantic staycation – I promise, when you get here, you wouldn’t want to leave.

Dining room table comfortably sits ten and would be perfect for a special occasion dinner. Behind the dining room is butler’s kitchen with a separate entrance, so your dinner can be set and served in a seamless way without disturbing the guests in the living room.

Second bedroom has two plush single beds and an en-suite, perfect for the kids. Needless to say every room is equipped with flat screen TV and a selection of movies in extensive.

Dining

The suite is so spectacular that we chose to have most of our all meals via the room service. Elegant breakfast or gourmet dinner with the most amazing views in Sydney was better than dining in any fancy restaurant. Room service menu is excellent with lots of choices even for the fussy eaters.

On one of the nights we ventured out to Grain for a cocktail and to Mode Kitchen for dinner. Grain bartenders won many awards for their creative cocktails and when I asked for something with lemon and ginger it came up just perfect.

Australian hotels are not known for fancy dining, but Mode Kitchen changes that perception with their Italian head chef  Francesco Mannelli delivering contemporary Italian dining in a cosy setting. Best way to experience his cuisine is to order a lot of share plates – we recommend Yellow Fin Tuna Tartare, Truffle Risotto and T-Bone steak – all spectacular.

The Lux Traveller Loves

Loved literally everything about our stay from the first minute to the last.

Worth a mention are Christian Lacroux toiletries in the bathroom – first time I see them – very special.

Splitting hairs

It’s incredibly difficult to find something to complain about. But if I have to think of something it would be making small amends to the breakfast menu.

All In All

I would come back to this suite any time – it is nothing short of spectacular! Loved every moment of my stay – service, décor, spectacular views. I felt like a princess and I think you all deserve it too.

This Presidential Suite is absolutely perfect for a honeymoon, birthday celebrations or a long corporate family stay.
