W Mina Seyahi is a brand new beach resort in Dubai. It boasts incredible design by Singaporean Blink Design Group, loads of style and what’s even more remarkable, it is the first adults-only luxury hotel in Dubai.
So if you are looking for a truly romantic hotel where peace, privacy and cool vibes prevent, look no further – W is for you.
Location
W Mina Seyahi is a part of a larger hotel complex on Jumeirah Beach. It is a central location with many city’s attractions within easy reach and only 30 minutes from the international airport.
Arrival is quite an experience – hotel lobby is more of a stylish lounge that pays homage to Middle Eastern gold souk and Alladin flying in on a magic carpet. At night the lounge becomes a place to be seen, complemented by DJ sets and expertly mixed cocktails.
Receptions desk hides in a magic tent, making check-in experience very informal.
Accommodation
All 318 rooms and suites at the W are extremely spacious starting from 47 square meters to create a relaxing resort feel for its guests. Remarkably all rooms and suites face the sea and have balconies with views over the Arabian Gulf. A perfect place to enjoy the sunset with your beautiful other.
All rooms are thoughtfully designed with beautiful Arabian touches that bring an element of fantasy and remind you that you living an Arabian dream.
I had a pleasure of staying in a WOW Suite, a spacious one-bedroom sanctuary high up in the sky with incredible view of the Bluewater and Jumeirah Beach.
I love the bright colours and the ultra-stylish mini bar with a full cocktail making set ready to go and full size alcohol bottles set for a party.
The Jewel of the resort is E-Wow Suite. E stands for Extreme. It wasn’t ready when I was visiting, would love to experience it next time. They are open now and offer the most elevated experience. This 300 sq meter suite on the 30th floor comes with two bedrooms, lounge and dining – a perfect setting for a special occasion or party.
Facilities
Second floot of the hotel is home to Ginger Moon – hotel’s all day club offering stunning infinity pool and all-day Asian fusion dining. Being part of a larger complex W guests have access to many beach areas, multiple swimming pools and sporting facilities in Mina Seyahi. There is even a little water park for the thrill seekers.
I hear that W still has a lot of surprises coming up for us in the near future – an exclusive beach club, spa high in the sky, rooftop lounge and fitness centre. W is already an incredible hotel and I can’t wait to see it in all its glory once all the facilities are open. We’ll keep you updated.
Dining
Breakfast is served buffet style in Ginger Moon. It had some healthy options as well as the usual breakfast selection. It was very quiet during my visit, so the restaurant had more of a café atmosphere with few people few and far between.
Lunch at Ginger Moon was lovely especially if you choose a fancy cocktail to spice up your meal. The setting is gorgeous, especially for the cooler months, right next to the infinity pool with incredible views.
Mina Seyahi has many other dining options to choose from and for dinner I recommend La Bussola, a well-known Italian restaurant frequented by Dubai expats. It offers honest, traditional Italian cuisine in an elegant setting. At night it’s mostly adults, so it won’t unbalance your cool adult W vibe.

Splitting Hairs
I didn’t find a lot of space for the luggage in the rooms. If you don’t travel light like me, there isn’t a lot of space to hide the luggage, no walk-in wardrobes even in the suites.
